I had a general idea of what I wanted to do with a large, bare wall in my home, but I wasn't exactly sure what the finished product should look like. I ended up meeting with three different designers because I wanted to compare ideas, get different perspectives, and see who I felt most comfortable working with. From the first time Alex came to my house, I knew I wanted to work with him. He took the time to look at the space, take measurements, listen to what I was looking for, and then offer his professional opinion on what would look best. More importantly, he came across as genuine, knowledgeable, and trustworthy - something that is really important when you're inviting someone into your home and investing in a project like this. Alex and I went back and forth a few times over text, tweaking different ideas and materials until we came up with a design that was exactly what I had in mind. He and his team, which included his brother, uncle, and father, then spent about a week completing the project. The finished product far exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and quality of the work were outstanding, but what impressed me just as much was the professionalism of the entire crew. They were punctual, respectful, clean, and clearly took a lot of pride in what they do. I am extremely happy that I chose Upwall, and I already know I'll be calling Alex and his team when I'm ready for my next project. Five stars doesn't even feel like enough. I highly recommend Upwall to anyone looking for high-quality work from people you can actually trust.
